Amy Brown is an Assistant Professor of Music Education at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. She has her Bachelor of Science in Music Education from Asbury University and a Master's in Music, with an Orff Concentration, from UNLV. With over 25+ years of blending music with core subject areas, Amy now teaches future educators, both undergraduate and graduate students, how to incorporate simple music strategies in order to maintain an engaging teaching environment, within their given content areas. She is a 2-time National Board Certified teacher, 3-time CCSD Heart of Education Award Finalist, and NVSIDE Battle Born Educator Award Recipient. Amy presents at various local, state, and national conferences on a variety of topics pertaining to music education and technology integration.
