About this speaker
Emily (she/her) hails from the modest terrain of San Jose, CA. With an MA in Digital Media and Learning from USF, she is an Apple Distinguished Educator and has worked in private K-12 educational technology for about ten years in various roles. Emily also holds a BA in Percussion Performance from the University of Michigan and regularly performs with the Peninsula Symphony as Principal Percussionist. She loves creating and editing audio/music/videos, hiking amongst the trees, and reading books during whatever free time falls from the sky. Emily is always open to learning, collaboration and humorous conversation.
Currently, Emily works at Stanford Online High School in Redwood City, CA as an Academic Technologist.
